Proposed #BringBackOurGirls visit to Internally Displaced Persons settlement

Following our 2nd May 2015 pre-assessment on the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living in Abaji, Abuja; we intend visiting this We have gathered the following information :<
There are 112 persons  from Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states. The IDPs seeking safe haven fled their various homes in October/November 2014 and made their way to Abuja. Some were in Mubi and when Mubi was captured, they fled southwards. Their reasons for staying in Abaji vary from having family members already there to lack of funds and Abaji being relatively safe. When they arrived in Abaji, they made themselves known to the security agencies and community for identification purposes.
We are now requesting for the following relief items based on our previous engagement :
1. Food for 25 families and 3 singles (canned and packaged)

2. Baby food, milk and nappies (15 babies and toddlers)
3. Toiletries (bathing soap, sanitary pads, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc)
4. Clothing (for men, women, children, teenagers, toddlers and newborns)
5. Mattresses (approx 7 for the pregnant women)
6. Mosquito nets
7. Medical supplies (malaria, typhoid, diarrhea, STDs, cold, respiratory tract infections and measles)
8. Educational materials for primary and secondary schoolchildren

Volunteers to help sort and deliver the items
Transportation to ferry the relief items and volunteers
Doctors/Nurses/Pharmacists/Community health workers/Counsellors/Sexual health practitioners
If you would like to support the children who are not in school due to financial constraints (N12k for primary and N15k for secondary), please let us know. We shall direct on how the donations may be channelled appropriately, as we do not accept cash donations of any kind.
